Dave Haskell - Having had my first model built for me by my Father when I was 6, I started building them myself from the age of 8. Initially an aircraft modeller, brought about for my love of aircraft, I am now primarily a maritime modeller. My time in the Royal Navy helped me appreciate the many different types and classes of ship and I now build ships from most eras. That hasn't stopped me building the occasional aircraft and I have an increasing interest in armoured vehicles with the occasional dabble with large scale figures to keep the mojo going. Being a product reviewer for Britmodeller.com I also get a chance to see many new models before they are released, which is great. Belonging to the West Middlesex and Farnborough clubs has been great for learning new ideas and techniques and getting the chance to show my models off at shows and in competitions.
